Description
Jaguar XKR 2010 Used
by Collection Privée Automobile
After the TYPE C JAGUAR continued its development as a racing car and the TYPE D was released in 1954 and was victorious at the 24H DU MANS in 1955, 1956 and 1957.
The production car that will simply result from this racing beast is the JAGUAR TYPE E, one of the greatest revolutions in automobile history!
In the 70s the TYPE E was replaced by the JAGUAR ASTON MARTIN or MERCEDES but more artisanal.
The JAGUAR XJS had a long life: 21 years is enormous for a model! In 1996 the XK8 finally replaced the XJS but part of the chassis was still that of the XJS. The XK8 platform will be shared with that of the ASTON MARTIN DB7.
The XK8 is powered by a 4.0 V8 from FORD production lines and develops 295 hp, the sports version is called The compressed 4.0 engine develops 400 hp
This 1st generation of JAGUAR XKR pleases those nostalgic for the JAGUAR brand because for several decades JAGUAR had lost a little of its AURA.
The 2nd generation of XKR is even more impressive, the platform is still common with ASTON MARTIN but this time it is the ASTON MARTIN DB9 which is the donor.
The compressed V8 5.0 engine announces a power of 510hp, the XKR is self-limited to 250 km but studies suggest that if it were not limited by the manufacturer its top speed would be around 300 km/h.
The quality of finishes is still increasing, as are the dynamic qualities.
Our JAGUAR XKR V8 5.0 compressor 510 hp is a collector's car! Its owner also has a magnificent evocation of JAGUAR TYPE C (which you can find in our advertisements)
He bought this marvel in 2016 when it only had 19,000 original kms.
As a good collector, he has always had his JAGUAR XKR maintained by the manufacturer, a complete invoice file attests to this.
This car is a pure beauty in this rare white cream leather gray convertible top configuration.
Today it only has 62,000 original kms.
To come and discover by appointment in TOULON.
