The Mégane R.S. Trophy-R is powered by a 1.8 liter 300 hp unit, 130 kg lighter and associated with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

With an edition strictly limited to 500 numbered examples worldwide, New Renault MEGANE R.S. TROPHY-R presents itself as a super sports car as powerful as it is coveted on the circuit and on the road. To be able to achieve this exceptional level of performance during the record race on the Nürburgring, the Trophy R was equipped with exclusive, new Renault Sport equipment.

The TROPHY-R also set a new record for production traction on the 20.6 km “North Loop” of the Nürburgring. The famous German circuit, particularly in its 20.6 km Nordschleife version, was covered in 7 minutes and 40.1 seconds by the Mégane RS Trophy R. This performance represents an improvement of 15 seconds compared to the previous generation of 275 horsepower, and this record was achieved with the same driver, Laurent Hurgon.
