Lamborghini Countach 1983 Used

Our LAMBORGHINI is a 5000 S from 1983, the 5000S series succeeds the COUNTACH LP400 and LP400S. It is powered by the new 4.8 V12 (while the LP400 had a 4.0 liter), its powerful 375hp.

Our car was ordered in GERMANY but delivered to MONACO in 1983, its original livery was white with white interior. Subsequently it was purchased by the American importer HANS OFFMAN but to be able to drive in the USA it must respect the rules across the Atlantic and be equipped with injection, it is a workshop in SWITZERLAND which is responsible for installing a K-JETRONIC INJECTION system very similar to that found on the FERRARI 512BB INJECTION.

It drove in ARIZONA until 1991 when it was purchased by the international art dealer ADRIEN MAEGHT who bought it to put it in his museum: the MUSEUM AUTOMOBILE DE MOUGINS (06).

At this time it became gray with the 5000 QV body kit and the two-tone dark blue and white interior, it has approximately 35,000 km.

It did not move from the MOUGINS AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM from 1991 to 2006. In 2006 ADRIEN MAEGHT decided to ask his friend HERVE POULAIN to take care of selling his LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH in an auction of which he had the secret. From there we lost sight of the car until we bought it back in 2023. It had not been driven since that time since it now has 37,000 kms.

This car has not been driven since the 90s, so it requires a little attention. We took the time to restart it to realize that the engine, gearbox and clutch were working well, however this nugget now requires an upgrade: The interior has some traces of humidity and the dashboard cap is deformed. The painting has a few flaws but overall looks good. Mechanically the car starts but you have to have the 2 K-JETRONIC dosers completely serviced at BOSCH, change all the hoses, clean the engine compartment, etc.

The car is complete and in very beautiful original juice, it is a great basis for a beautiful restoration.
