Beautiful car in perfect condition!
Belgian papers.

The Chevrolet Standard Six (DC series) appeared in 1933, initially under the name Chevrolet Mercury.
It was a relatively cheap alternative to the Confederate series which changed its name several times: Eagle in 1933, Master from 1934. It was advertised as "the cheapest six-cylinder on the market".
It was offered in 3 body styles: coach, coupé and coupé with folding seat. All these bodies were designed by Fisher and were powered by a 6-cylinder engine of 2970 cc, which was increased to 3390 cc in 1935.
In 1936, it saw a series of improvements and a wider choice of bodies, based on a longer wheelbase. The career of the Standard Six ended in 1937 with the merger of the Master and the New Master Deluxe.
