To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the FORD brand, they wanted to make a big splash, they presented a concept car inspired by the FORD GT 40. The FORD GT 40 which was going to be 40 years old.

While FORD had to buy FERRARI at the beginning of the 60s, Commander ENZO FERRARI sent the leaders of FORD away! HENRI FORD took offense and decided to build "the car" which would humiliate the FERRARIs at the 24 HOURS OF LE MANS. It was not so easy! It took FORD many years to develop the FORD GT 40 but in June 1966 the FORD GT 40s won the 24H DU MANS, passing 3 FORD GT 40s under the checkered flag.

The idea of ​​reviving this legendary car is great and the car that will result from it is even more so.

At first glance you can conflate it with the original but when you look closer, there are a lot of differences, today's car is wider and taller, but the concept is remains the same.

The engine is a 5.4-liter V8 with a 550 hp compressor coupled to a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Top speed is 330 km/h

Only 4038 FORD GTs will have been built and only around a hundred planned for EUROPE. This car is therefore extremely rare, almost impossible to find in FRANCE.

One of our great collectors with an original FORD GT40 managed to acquire one a few years ago, today he wishes to reorganize his collection and therefore parts with this marvel.

This FORD GT is therefore completely original and only has 13,000 original miles or 20,000 kms. Of course, it has never been damaged and is still in original paint.
